Mefix tape
Length 0.5m width 10cm
depending on stock availability.
Mefix is a self adhesive fabric tape. It is flexible and confirms well to the body, also contours and allows body movement when in place.
The tape is made from breathable material therefore preventing smudging.
Applying the tape.
- Measure and cut the tape to size.
- remove the backing paper and fix on to the area where the henna is applied.
Removing tape.
Simply carefully peel off the tape or you can apply any oil to loosen it up.
The tape should not be applied to wet henna or henna that has been sprayed with a sealant as this could cause smudging.
Not recommended to use on sensitive skin or skin that is stretched like over a pregnant belly as removal is more likely to cause irritation.
Rosewater sugar sealant spray - 20ml
Henna has to be kept on the skin for at least 2 hours (max 8) for a great stain.
If the henna cracks and falls off too soon, all your hard work may be wasted. Therefore you will need to seal your henna!
The travel/pocket size bottle you will receive is more practical than using a mixture with cotton wool which can be time consuming and messy.
Using the spray.
- Allow the paste to dry, make sure the dots and thick designs are dry to the touch.
- Spray directly on to the area, making sure not to spray too closely.
The liquid will rehydrate the paste allowing for a rich deeper sought after stain.
Rosewater and sugar sealant is least like to cause skin irritation.
It also enhances the design when taking photos.
